Friday, December 19th, 2008. This experience was amazing. I searched Buydiamonddirect.com and found a diamond that I was interested in. I sent a request to see the certification for that diamond. Roni called me back and asked me what I was looking for. Having done my own research on diamonds (more in depth than just the 4 c�s), I explained the parameters for which I was looking. He then gave me some additional information. This information really helped my search for the perfect (for me) diamond. He did not try to get me to buy something I didn�t want. Nor did he try to get me to spend any more than what I wanted. He actually told me that there was no reason, one diamond in particular, was priced so high and recommended finding a similar one at a cheaper price. He made sure we stayed within my budget and NEVER ONCE suggested otherwise. I was in control the entire time with Roni helping me the whole way. We (I say we, because I felt that he was truly part of my journey) finally found one after about 2-3 weeks. It took that long because I was taking my time in considering each stone. When I finally chose a stone and a setting, I could hardly wait to see the result. Everything was done and received in my hands within 5 days. The diamond looked gorgeous and the setting is fantastic. Roni was like having my very own diamond expert searching with me. Roni made this transaction a fantastic experience. Dec 13, 2008. Just received my ring. I have searched through a lot of different retail jewelers in Chicago as well as on-line and came across buydiamonddirect.com. The prices here were significantly lower than anything somewhere else. However the price is only half the story until I met a gentleman Ron.I was surprised by the fact that being a deep discount on-line store he actually took a lot of his time to explain various aspects of diamonds and the business in general - I have learned a lot from him. He went out of his way to make sure I was happy with my purchase,I even have bought a ring from a different web site which he graciously set for me at no extra cost. If that was not enough he overnighted the package for me knowing that I have only a few days before I go on my vacation where I am planning to propose to hopefully my "wife to be" again at no extra cost. Ok, needless to say I was skeptical at first. I have done my research and I got the best value for the money. After going back and forth with few options I ended up buying a 1.54 carat H colored stone which almost blinded me - that's how bright it was!!!
